This pattern is the most well-known species dolphin, Tursiops truncatus or known as common Bottlenose Dolphin. The pattern has chart size 79 x 51 stitches or equivalent with 5.57 x 3.64 inches if using cloth 16 cross stitch per inches. This free dolphin cross stitch pattern use 6 DMC color: lavender blue (dk and md) and blue violet for body, pewter gray for eye, baby blue for eye pupil, and steel gray for strip on nose.
