Free Cross Stitch Pattern - Eagle Head

This is my favorites cross stitch pattern that I ever made, Eagle Cross Stitch Pattern. Eagle Birds become the symbol since 3000 BC period in the Sumerian. In Greek mythology, eagle is considered as a message carrier from The God Zeus. In the Roman period in Europe, the eagle (Golden eagle) also became the symbol of them. Eagles become the war symbols in many Indian tribes in North America during the beginning of British colonization. Year 1782, "The Bald Eagle" became the symbol on the U.S. flag.

Now eagle becomes a free cross stitch pattern. Not all parts of the Eagle body are made to be pattern, just eagle’s head only. The pattern result has dimension 5.71 x 5.71 inches (80 x 80 cross stitch with 14 stitches per inch). The pattern use full stitch strands using 7 colors from DMC floss.
